A food supplement from Nutriessens product line in the form of delicious fruit gel with the content of orange juice from the concentrate (min.5%), with maracuja flavour, contains 7000 mg of animal and plant collagen, Acerola extract (vitamin C), L-tryptophan and Xylitol.

Behind the product development is the ESSENS Scientific Board team, made up of experts and pharmacists, who have been in the industry for many years. The food supplement was developed and is being manufactured under pharmaceutical supervision in the Czech Republic, in compliance with the strictest EU rules and standards. The production is subject to GMP and HACCP certification. The gel does not contain artificial dyes, gluten, lactose and is suitable for diabetics, thanks to low glycemic index.

What is collagen?

Collagen is a protein that forms the basic building material of connective tissues in the organism. The structure of each collagen is divided into 28 types, with the first three being the most significant. Type I collagen occupies 90% of all collagen in the body, is located in the skin, tendons, bones and ligaments. Type II collagen occurs in the cellular cartilage mass.

ESSENS Collagen FISH is produced from fish collagen derived exclusively from fish skin, namely collagen type I and II and plant collagen type II. Collagen of animal origin is poorly soluble in water and the human body would not be able to use it well. The fact that it is hydrolysed facilitates (hydrolysis is a decomposition reaction through water.)  entry into the body and thus its use. However, the most valuable component is NATIVE (undisturbed by heat, chemicals or enzymes while being processed) unhydrolysed plant collagen II from acacia, that does not contain any pathogenic factors and preserves its natural structure.

Acerola is a thick shrub or a small tree, whose fruits (Malpighia glabra) are among the richest natural sources of Vitamin C.

L-tryptofan is amino acid necessary for every body cell and promotes the collagen production.

The gel form of the food supplement was chosen primarily for maximum bioavailability in the body. An important aspect then played a taste, since pure collagen does not taste too well, but in combination with fruit components, its taste becomes delicious.

Practical packagingwith an accurate 50 g dosage per day allows for immediate consumption and thanks to closeable cap, the consumption can be spread over a longer period of time.

Recommended dosage: 1 pack/sachet of gel (50 g), to be taken daily. Abide by drinking regime.
